Two of the biggest A-list actors in the world, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, visited Toronto last night.
Toronto was treated to a true sight to behold in the shape of two Hollywood heavy hitters on July 23 as Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman visited the Scotiabank Theatre to attend the Toronto premiere of Deadpool and Wolverine.

Prior to hitting the red carpet, though, the stars also spent the day on Queen West, surprising fans at the Deadpool and Wolverine fan zone with a Q&A alongside Montreal-born director, Shawn Levy.

Following the fan zone, the stars bravely mounted the notoriously steep stairs at the theatre before hitting the red carpet.

Alongside Reynolds, Jackman and Levy, actor Anthony Mackie, who plays Sam Wilson (Falcon) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also made an appearance.
A Canadian-led production through and through, starring Vancouver-born Reynolds and helmed by Levy, it seems only appropriate that Canadian fans of the Deadpool franchise were treated to some extra fare with the Toronto premiere.
This is far from the first time Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have each made a splash in and around the 6ix.
Back in 2019, while Jackman was in town on his The Man. The Music. The Show. tour, he endeared Toronto fans by pulling elderly audience members on stage to dance with them.
Reynolds, a regular fixture in Ontario, has been seen dining at Unionville Italian spot Il Postino and crashing classes at Seneca College alongside opening his very own film production studio in nearby Markham.
While a select few fans were lucky enough to catch the advance screening of the movie, the rest of us will have to wait until it officially releases on Friday, July 26 to watch the action unfold.
