The World Naked Bike Ride is returning to Toronto this spring

Toronto will witness masses of naked riders passing through its landmarks and streets this spring as part of the annual clothing-optional World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR).

The yearly tradition will see hundreds of bikers strip down to their birthday suits to protest against oil dependency and urban pollution, promote greater cycling safety on roads, and encourage body freedom for all.

Since its inception over 20 years ago, the traffic-stopping event has also grown to include riders protesting censorship and nudity laws. There’s no cost or registration associated with the event, so if you’re keen on joining, all you have to do is grab your helmet and sunscreen.

Make sure to also bring some body paint with you so you can decorate your bike (and yourself) with your message.

Participants are encouraged to arrive at least one hour before the ride, which kicks off at Coronation Park and passes by landmarks and hotspots like HTO Park, the CN Tower, City Hall, Sankofa Square, Allan Gardens Park, Queen’s Park, and Kensington Market.

Those who choose to wear clothes are encouraged to ride at the end, and all participants are advised to bring clothing to throw on after the event is over.

Toronto’s World Naked Bike Ride officially kicks off on June 14, 2025 at 1 p.m.
