Shortly after the shooting, police issued a warning stating they believed him to be armed with multiple firearms.

There is no ongoing threat to public safety now.

RCMP tell Global News there have been multiple injuries.

Halliday is described as six-foot-three, with brown hair and brown eyes.

RCMP are urging residents with any information to contact authorities. More information to come.
