If you’re a regular TTC or GO Transit commuter, odds are that you own a Presto card, and aside from helping you make your way across the city, your card can actually unlock some exclusive discounts on events, sports games, and attractions in Toronto.

That’s right — throughout the year, there are dozens of places in Toronto that will grant you a hefty discount just with a simple flash of your Presto card or a discount code inputed online.

While some discounts are available year-round, there are a few that are only available this April that you should be aware of.

These are all the places you can get a discount in Toronto just by showing your Presto card or applying a code online this April.

Events
Living Luxe Design Show

If you’re passionate about design, fashion, architecture, or real estate, you might want to check out the Living Luxe Design Show, which is happening April 25 to 27 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

Tickets for one-day admission start at $25, but you can use code LLDS25PRESTO at checkout to save 50 per cent off your general admission ticket. This offer ends on April 27, so if you’re keen on checking out the show, make sure you grab your tickets sooner rather than later.

Sports
AFC Toronto

It’s a great month to be a sports fan and a Presto cardholder, because there’s no shortage of cost-friendly games to enjoy. AFC Toronto is officially set to take BMO Field on April 19 for the first-ever pro Canadian Women’s soccer match.

The team will compete against the Montreal Roses to mark a historic moment in professional women’s soccer in Canada. If you want to join in on all the action, you can use the code PRESTOAFC at checkout to save 15 per cent on general admission tickets and merchandise until April 19.

Grand Slam of Curling

From April 8 to 13, you can watch Olympic medalists, world champions, and Canadian favourites compete in a best-on-best showdown at the AMJ Players’ Championship at the Mattamy Athletic Centre.

All you have to do is log onto Ticketmaster, pick your day, and use the code Presto when booking or show your Presto card in person to save 20 per cent on single draw tickets. This offer ends on April 13.

Toronto Marlies

Until April 19, PRESTO cardholders can save up to 30 per cent off on all 2024-25 Toronto Marlies home games at Coca-Cola Coliseum, and four games at Scotiabank Arena.

To get your discount, you can use the code MARLIESPRESTO at checkout to save 30 per cent on admission.

Shows
Opera Atelier

Opera Atelier is presenting Charpentier’s David and Jonathan this month, and you can unlock some great discounts on tickets for the next few shows. The Versailles production of Marc Antoine Charpentier’s breathtaking opera and ballet is making its Canadian debut, fully staged in Koerner Hall.

You can use the code PRESTO15 at checkout or show your Presto card in person to save 15 per cent on tickets. This offer ends April 13.

LIFE AFTER

From one of Canada’s most celebrated composers, lyricists, and musical theatre voices, this musical first captivated audiences with a sold-out Toronto premiere in 2017.

In its highly anticipated return, LIFE AFTER is arriving at the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre in a new production for a limited four-week engagement from April 16 to May 10. Tickets start at $49, and you can use the code PRESTOLA at checkout to access your exclusive offer. This offer ends on May 10.

Food and drink
Steam Whistle Brewing

You can discover the founding story of Canada’s largest independent brewery while trying out a bottle of their award-winning Pilsner this spring.

Just use the code PRESTO20 at checkout or show your Presto card onsite to save 20 per cent on tours at Steam Whistle Brewing, located at the iconic John Street Roundhouse. You can also show your Presto card in the Tap Room to receive 15 per cent off Steam Whistle merchandise in-store only.
