Toronto has a new wine and chocolate tasting event but it’s in a helicopter

If you’re ready to take your love for chocolate to new heights, you’ll be pleased to hear that Toronto has an experience designed just for adventure seekers with a sweet tooth.

The Grand Chocolate Flight is a one-of-a-kind experience that combines a private chocolate tasting with a helicopter flight around Toronto.

The one-hour guided tasting is led by a chocolate expert on board, who will teach you how the treats are made. Throughout the 15-kilometre helicopter flight (which takes anywhere from six to eight minutes), you can expect to savour raw cacao, as well as a curated selection of local artisan chocolates.

You’ll also be able to enjoy a bottle of Canadian sparkling wine and learn more about how to pair chocolates with different wines.

After the ride, each guest is offered a chocolate tasting kit, a bottle of sparkling wine, as well as a commemorative digital photo next to the helicopter.  Each chocolate tasting kit contains three dark chocolate bars and one milk chocolate bar, and the makers may change seasonally.

Bookings are available online for an eye-popping $799 per couple or $899 for trios.
