Veld music festival, the largest electronic dance music (EDM) festival in Canada, just dropped the complete lineup for their 2025 event, and it includes a selection of local legends.
Whether you’re already planning your outfit for this August or can’t stand the sound of EDM, there’s no arguing that Veld is one of the preeminent marquee events of the summer — and summer 2025 will be no different.
Taking over Downsview Park from Aug. 1 to 3 this year, the music festival promises to bring a packed weekend full of good vibes and even better beats courtesy of some serious heavyweights on the EDM scene for its 12th year running.
The 2025 festival has already boasted some seriously big names, including John Summit, Alesso and Tiesto, alongside fellow headliners Lane 8, Rezz, Cosmic Gate, Crankdat and Sullivan King.
It wouldn’t be a Canadian EDM event without some good old-fashioned CanCon, and this year’s festival is bringing it out in spades, with headliner sets from Niagara native Deadmau5, London’s Loud Luxury and Excision, who hails from Kelowna, B.C., and also happens to be behind that awful Shrek animation you’ve probably seen on Tik Tok.
On top of the headliners, the festival is also set to feature performances from a bountiful bevy of up-and-comers, including Dom Dolla, Dabin, Danny Avila, Kai Wachi and Timmy Trumpet, to name just a few.
While we’ve still got a decent amount of winter despair to get through before it’s time to send it in the sun at Veld 2025, this announcement is, at the very least, a reminder that warmer days are just around the corner.
Tickets for Veld 2025 go on presale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4 before general sale commences at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5. Presale sign-up can be found on Veld’s website, and tickets will be available through Frontgate.
